MSM.

msm_powder_250g_500cc_jug__18642 Another miracle superfood/ powder that I incorporate into my diet. I first heard wind of it from raw food guru, David 'Avocado' Wolf, yes that is his real name! And since then I've been mixing the powder with lemon and water each morning and/or night.

MSM, short for methyl-sulfonyl-methane, is a naturally-occurring organic source of sulfur that is found in the human body, as well as in a number of foods. As a supplement, MSM is also turning out to be a powerful, yet nontoxic, therapeutic agent that may help to inhibit pain impulses, lessen inflammation, reduce chronic pain (arthritis, injuries) increase blood supply and energy, reduce muscle spasms and soften scar tissue! Amongst a whole heap of other benefits and uses.

Without sulfur there would be no life. We don't think much about what sulfur does in our body, but it is essential in human nutrition, and is an element in over 150 compounds in the body. Sulfur is part of every cell and is concentrated in the connective tissue, skin, nails and hair. ( Ever burned a strand of hair? The sulfurous odor comes from the hair's keratin content, is composed of sulfur). It is another beauty mineral that will allow you to shine not only on the inside, but also on the outside.

I normally take it once a day (sometimes twice if I am sore or have any inflammation) around a teaspoon, but if you are just starting out, only take 1/4 teaspoon and work your way up. Make sure you take it with lemon, or any other citrus fruit as it requires Vitamin C to absorb properly. Make it your morning drink of choice! It is now something that I can't live without.

I buy it at my brothers store Vitamart, which is the best! - MSM

Hope everyone is having beautiful weekend!
