Yes, papaya. It's one of natures BEST kept secrets for giving you T H E G L O W.

This beauty of a fruit is high in Vitamin A, Vitamin C and also contains Vitamin E, so it has a significant antioxidant value. Applying papaya to your skin has an amazing tightening, as well as brightening, effect. It’s abundant in natural alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) which is an ingredient in those expensive anti-aging skin formulas (which no one should be using!). It acts as a gentle exfoliator as well as a skin brightener. Whenever you exfoliate the dark, dead skin cells, the skin will appear lighter, brighter, clearer and more youthful looking! Always, always say yes to exfoliation. I do it at least 2-3 times a week.

Papaya also contains papain – one of Nature’s best anti-inflammatories and skin exfoliators. Papain is commonly used in cooking to tenderize meat as it has the ability to break down protein. Yet, on the skin, papain works to break down the inactive protein of dead skin cells that accumulate on your skin’s surface. This buildup of dead skin cells is what gives your skin that dull, grayish look. Too much exposure to sun can cause clumps of these dead skin cells to form into those telltale ugly dark “age” spots. . . which you might not see now, but years down the road they will start to show!

PLAN OF ACTION // Go find a papaya . . .

1) scoop out the seeds + skin and EAT IT. Then rub the peel on your face for a BRIGHTENING effect. (Moisturize after and use a good natural, SPF)

2) Scoop out the whole papaya and blend with whole organic coconut milk. The fat in the coconut milk will help with dehydration as the papaya is reallllly powerful. This will leave you TIGHTENED and TONED. (leave on for 10 minutes)

3) Mix papaya with HONEY for maximum hydration and G L O W. Leave on for 15 minutes.

How amazing is nature? If we tune into what our body needs, and look to what's naturally around us, we will always have the answers.

Glow on beauties.
