HEALING: TIPS FOR LIVING YOUR LIFE IN A HEALTHY, SIMPLE + FULFILLING WAY

Sometimes the littlest change can make a world of difference.

This is part 2 from last Mondays Post. 

Start waking a little earlier and spending some quiet time to start your day. The rest of the day will be transformed. It took me awhile to get into the habit of this, but this one simple change has changed so many other things in my life, and as lead to wonderful opportunities.

The morning is so fresh, clear and a bounty of endless opportunities.

It is what you make of it - so make it great.

So I want to ask you this || What little change might change your life? Here are some of the things you can do to shift yourself from a negative / stressed state to a happy / positive / healthy + simplified state:

Use any delay as opportunity to stop rather than get stressed. When the world stands still, let it.

Whenever your spouse//partner//BF//GF says something the first thing you should hear is “I love you & want to spend my life with you”.

Stop clinging and embrace change as a constant.

Try and give people the benefit of the doubt if they snap at you. There might be something going on you don’t know about.

Wash your bowl immediately after eating!

The daily practice of silence.

Life is so much easier when you make a decision within five minutes. Longer than that and you get bogged down & never decide.

Friendship is a gift, not a possession.

Nothing is that serious as it seems in the first moment.

Before you go to bed, write down only 3 things that you want to do the following day. Prioritize.

Do the most important task first thing in the morning.

Make all driving a mindfulness practice.

When you think you want something, put it on the planner a month from now. When that month rolls around and you still want it, OK.

Smiling … seems to help with most things.

Love where you live, and work in walking distance from where you live. 

Expecting less or nothing, and just being. That way disappointments are nil and you are pleasantly surprised often. Simple.

Allow extra time in your schedule for wandering.

Meditate — it makes everything fall into place. Being happy makes life so much better and easier!

Do something relaxing before going to bed. No electronics. For me it's a bath + reading.

Quit taking it (things) personally. It has nothing to do with you! 

To avoid cluttering: After any activity, put everything in place. It only takes five minutes vs. three hours if you allowed to pile things up.

Green Juice. Life changing.

Realizing that you treasure experiences over possessions makes life better.

When in doubt, take a deep breath.

Define what’s necessary; say no to the rest.

Expect nothing. Welcome everything.

SIMPLE. See beauty in the small things, as they can be life.changing.

What are you waiting for to live the life you want?

**I speak a lot about lifestyle, and mental and emotional components of a healthy lifestyle because they play such a massive, and vital role in healing not only the body, but also the mind. You can be eating thee healthiest of diets, in the whole wide world, but if you're stressed, unhappy and you're hormones are whacky non of it will matter, as your body won't be able to absorb the nutrients it needs to thrive! It will survive, but you won't be surpassing the midway point to reach the mountain tops. **

Have the most amazing start to your week, and see if you can apply just one of these things.
