This superfood smoothie will live you buzzing for hours AND hours on end...trust me. It is quite magical! And it has bee pollen in it, so BUZZ you will.

Simple, FULL of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, super foods and PURE love & joy.

Raw Cocao is THEE top antioxidant on the planet. I am not talking about snicker bars or even 70% dark chocolate. Pure raw cocao is what you want & need to attain the benefits. I will even make it in bar form (another recipe for another time), but this smoothie is something I have a couple of times a week after my green juice. It is a nice weekend treat.

My Raw + Rich Choco-Banana Smoothie:

* 3-5 frozen organic banana's depending on your mood + hunger. My mainstay is around 4! * 1 + 1/4 cup alkaline water * teaspoon spirulina * teaspoon maca * 2 teaspoons of bee pollen (raw and undried) * 1 tablespoon Raw Cocao * 1 tablespoon Dandy Blend (a INCREDIBLE coffee alternative that gives you a roast flavor without the caffeine + jitters) * couple dashes of cinnamon

Blend with a super high blender (I use a Blendtec) and Voila an ice cream/smoothie that is FULL of so many vitamins + minerals that your energy levels will soar for the entire day, without any crashes or sugar cravings. I also like to pop it back into the freezer for a little bit, while I am drinking my juice to make it extra thick + sprinkle with more bee pollen!
