“At the core of your heart, you are perfect and pure. No one and nothing can alter that.”

The term 'you are what you eat' is becoming more relevant now more than ever before - especially in reference to our beauty routines. Back in the day it was all about magical pills, potions, creams, make up, anything external to enhance, brighten and heal, but this isn't the case anymore.

Today things are changing, and this is a topic I'm extremely passionate about, and one that envelops my practice and business. Whenever we speak about health, wellness, and beauty we can't disassociate the connection between our cells, what we feed ourselves, and what we see on the outside. Glowing skin = digestion, eliminatory organs, liver, Shiny Hair = diet, protein consumption, lifestyle it goes for every other body part.

I feel so on fire about this topic, as I see so many women (and men!) spend endless amounts of money on creams, procedures and products to help them glow, feel beautiful, gain confidence, when to simplify it all, it all starts from within. I will never, ever, ever be one to judge, as I like my natural oils that cost $$$. But this is because I find so much value in it, and I'm hyper aware that what I feed my cells first and foremost make the most impact on my health and therefore my skin.

This doesn't just relate to beauty, because beauty is way, way, way more than our bodies, in essence it starts with our hearts, how we choose to show up in this world, giving back, the happiness and love we share, and the simplicity of smiles and laughter - that is true beauty. But in our society there will always be an emphasis on the external. This is part of our world, and the only way to combat this is finding our own balance, but a balance that is healthy. I'm not a everything in moderation gal :)

“Whole life is a search for beauty. But, when the beauty is found inside, the search ends and a beautiful journey begins.”

To be fully honest my skincare regime isn't 100% organic, natural and eco-friendly. I'm not a purist, because it's not realistic for me. I also don't eat 100% organic all the time, as I do go out for dinners, events, etc...but 90-95% of the time it is.

When it comes to my skincare, I will always, always look to natural products first, and I'm a complete and utter devotee of PURA, but it doesn't mean that I won't use my Josie Maran sunscreen, or sunscreen in itself, as I know a lot of purists despise sunscreen. I've found one that works for me, and on the green scale is a lot more natural than the conventional ones out there. I live a very healthy lifestyle every single day, so a little bit of sunscreen, and some dinners out make me happy, it's a great balance. It's my balance,  and I infuse it with mindfulness. I don't go out to dinner everyday, or even every week.

Back to the point though, as I often get carried away! A good and kind heart, a smile and loving energy, this is BEAUTY. This is what people notice and gravitate towards. Beauty from within, not only on a cellular level through the food we eat (HELLO greens & probiotics!!!), but with the energy and kindness, and service we emit to others. It's something that I'm mindful of every moment through every action, word and interaction with others. How can I serve them, make people happier, and help them see the beauty that lies within, all the while guiding them to health, vibrancy and pursuing their dreams.

I will always be a lover of natural beauty, products and self-loving rituals, as it's pure fun for me and I enjoy it, but this is only a small fraction of it all. Your cells, heart, energy and insides are ALREADY beautiful, and through eating greens, drinking lots of water, sweating, switching to more natural ingredients and practices, this will automatically make your outsides glow. Everything lies within, everything. What you choose to put into your body, makes up You. Every part of you.

We all have a choice how this is shown, practiced and used to help serve others. For when we give, it always comes full-circle. We don't even have to think about it.

It's the same when it comes to our food. When we nurture a healthy lifestyle that works for us, isn't restrictive, GIVE back to ourselves, is balanced and filled with lots of greens, self love, healthy fats, vegetables, and fruits, we start to FEEL the difference from within. It's cyclical, and it becomes second nature. We can get out of our heads, and trust our bodies, energy flows from the inside out.

It's ALL within.

Have a beautiful start to your week,
