Each day we are bombarded with tasks, meetings, dates, deadlines, the to-do lists that seem endless on somedays. But what if we started to savor each moment, not just looking forward to a Friday or a special event. We all know we only have one life to live, so even in those difficult moments or tasks that aren't so fun we learn to truly be mindful of what we are doing.
My challenge for you this weekend:
Savor everything you do, every experience. There is no moment that cannot be savored — even those routine moments, even those times when you’re having a conflict with someone else, even those times when you’re alone with nothing to do.
Savoring is about learning to live presently, to fully enjoy the gift of each moment, to give that moment the space and attention it deserves. It takes practice, but it’s a delicious practice.
I hope everyone has an unreal Easter weekend, and that you savor those special moments with your family + friends.
