the days are getting colder, have a warm heart.

A new month, a new season.

Summer is behind us, as is fall and we are about to set into the deep, dark and cold winter months (if you live in Canada like me! You Southern Hemisphere beauties are l u c k y). In any case, I feel a shift in the air and I want to take this time to encourage you to re-evalute where you are headed on your journey and make goals + steps to get further to your dream, and where you want to be. It might be something simple, big, scary, or something you've been putting off...but if you don't start somewhere how will it ever get done? I always like to be reminded of the saying - a journey always begins with ONE step. ONE action. ONE connection. ONE person to believe in you. When you think of it like that it doesn't seem so fearful and scary. At the end of the day we ALL have to start somewhere, just like Steve Jobs with Apple and Edison with the light bulb. I feel like too many people just let go when winter comes - they hibernate, workout less, eat more processed + unhealthy food (the endless holiday parties!) and hang around until spring to 'rebirth' and kick into action, why wait though? We should be our best selves 365 days a year! We owe it the world, our family, friends but most importantly to ourselves.


With that being said I'm going to share a few of my winter + new season goals + musings....

- get my new website up and running before the new year so I can coach people ANYWHERE in the world! The functionality + business capabitlies will be so much greater - shoot new photos for my website - be better at rotating my greens in my juices + smoothies - go to more networking events here in Toronto at health food stores, restaurants, workshops - meet up with local nutritionists + people already established in the city and learn from them - put LIFEBYLEESE out there like mad! Drop off business cards at local shops, restaurants, cafes, wellness centers - continue my workouts throughout the winter no. matter. what. I love to sweat and move my body and I won't let the cold stop me. I think some hot yoga will be incorporated into my routine as well. I'm also LOVING my Ballet Beautiful which I can do from the warmth of my own home - buy a couch! - experiment with new soup recipes - fresh flowers every week as it brightens my life + day - read all my books which I've collected over the past few months - continue to work on my other business URBANBLISS - which is a lifestyle retreat and our upcoming 2014 location is BALI (more details SOON!) No matter where you are in the world you can join us! - continue to nurture my soul + mind through stillness, meditation and self-love and care - be kinder and gentler to myself! I feel like we are soooooo hard on ourselves...realize you can only do so much and if you don't take care of yourself, who will? - spread my love & passion for health and wellness with the world. I feel like we all have the potential to live our best lives and be happy and healthy and we are no less deserving than the BIG 'celebrities' out there using their platform for good. We have to establish our own platform and share our unique gifts with the w o r l d.

There is more, but this is a small tid-bit about a few things that are swirling around. It feels great to write them down. I encourage you to do the same. Get a notebook and just start writing...Know that a n y t h i n g is possible and that you have a gift to share.
