I came across this quote on Friday which really, really, really resonated with me.

"Fear is what keeps us tethered in stasis. It is centered around the protection and association of the human body. Once we go beyond the body and realize that who we truly are is pure love, everything becomes secure; there is no reason to fight or hold on. Certainly we need to keep our bodies healthy in order to enjoy life, but we don’t need to go beyond this and attach all aspects of our conscious selves to our physical confines." PRATIMA

I'm not ashamed or afraid to admit that I've often been riddled with fear, especially when I was ill. Fear practically crippled me, physically and emotionally. I was fearful of my future, what was wrong with me? Would I ever get better? Why is this happening to me? Natural healing literally costs an arm and a leg, and I was so ill I could hardly work, what the heck will I do ? And the list goes on!

I've done lots, and lots and lots of healing. I've let go of bucket loads, and have healed beyond what I thought was possible when I was in my darkest days. But that is not to say that I am free of feeling fear, or being caught in its shadows again.

It is 100% NATURAL to feel fear, but it is how we deal with it, and use it to our advantage. 99% of the time, fear is self-created. This usually stems from fear of the unknown, and we build up these stories, situations, and outcomes when most of the time they haven't even happened!

What I find most helpful in handling any and all types of fear is being in the Now, and reveling in pure love. When we are living in the present moment, it is very hard to be fearful. We have to learn to express joy, breathe, spread love, and live in the moment. It is all we have! Yes, things beyond our control will happen to us, but we do have a choice on how we handle the situation. There is always a solution, even when you don't think there is. Fear can cripple you in that way, deceiving you and making you believe there is no way out.

There is.

Let go, be present in your body, and realize that everything stems from, grows and flourishes in pure love. Body, mind and spirit.

I hope as you enter in this new week you are able to let go of fears that are crippling you right now. It is not always easy, and it will take extra effort. But it is time to LET GO.

We are in this together! Happy Monday.
