LIFESTYLE: I LIKE SUNDAY MORNINGS
I know I went on yesterday about not having a favorite day, and that everyday is the same! YES I believe this. But there is something special about Sundays. Historically it is THE 'day of rest', and it simply has a vibe to it that makes it just a little more relaxing than the rest . . . what do you guys think?
For most of the world, Sunday is possibly only second to Friday in the running for Best Day of the Week. Pure indulgence, made for sleeping in and relishing in the last of freedom before Monday rolls in. We ALL have our rituals; papers, coffee, reading, writing, vegan pancakes, yoga + a workout for the energetic ones :). Sometimes Its best spent in bed with your lover, with as little planned activity possible unless it involves marathons of the sort - Netflix, movies, etc. . .!
A little peek into my Sunday favorites:
Ben Howard Lauryn Hill Bob Marley Alt-J Mumford and Sons
Sandalwood + Vanilla
TEA OR COFFEE:
Ok, yes I love GREEN tea! So I would say both. But I'm going to be honest COFFEE!
WHAT TIME DO YOU NORMALLY WAKE UP ON A SUNDAY: 7-730 . . . latest 8! Yes this is sleeping in for me. My body can't really sleep past this. I've tried.
MY SUNDAY MORNING RITUAL INVOLVES: Cuddles, lemon water + coffee, a little sweatin' OR for the most part Sundays are my day off from ballet! But sometimes I like to do 1-2 videos to get my body breathing, moving and I usually do a moving meditation ( I meditate a lot when I'm doing ballet beautiful!). Grabbing coffee at our local spot or going out to a cafe to sit, chat, read the paper and just be. Write, read, make breakfast! It changes, but for the most part this is what it involves. I often work on Sundays, but hoping (this will!) change in the near future (!) I wish there was a cute little vegan cafe close to us where we could grab brunch, alas everything near is quite eggified. But I think I make a meaner breakfast anyways ;)
